System dynamics holds that the systems of the objective world are all open systems with universal interrelationships. Now the novel coronavirus is raging all over the world, and China and many other countries are struggling to fight the epidemic. Based on the analysis of system dynamics, we found that although the types of virus attacks in China and western countries are much the same, the management ideas, methods and effects of fighting the epidemic are quite different. Reflecting on the modern management under the epidemic situation, comparing the Chinese and western management culture, combing the context of Chinese traditional management thought, we can find effective management wisdom, provide Chinese proposal, improve the management mental model, build a community of human destiny, and effectively deal with the current crisis and common challenges facing mankind.
